Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Dental Hygienist for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri. The services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The contract term shall consist of a base period from the date of award through 12 months with four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year is1248 one hour sessions for the Dental Hygienist. The number of hours per week will not exceed thirty (30) hours. This proposed contract will be set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 22, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizzopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
