Description
Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) FSC Group 65, Part VII, Invitro Diagnostics, Reagents, Test Kits & Test Sets. Delivery is to the 50 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. This solicitation also contains an option for delivery through the VA's Medical Surgical Prime Vendor Program. This is a negotiated procurement, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) provision. EPAs are allowed after contract award in conjunction with company's commercial practices. Multiple Awards, NAICS 325413, Small Business Size is 500 employees. Issue date September 15, 2003. This is a standing solicitation and does not contain a closing date. Contracts awarded will begin on the DATE of AWARD (DOA) and expire five (5) years from that date unless, cancelled, terminated, or extended pursuant to any option provisions included in the contract. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule solicitation will include an option to extend the terms of the contract. The option clause may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of the schedule period shall not exceed five (5) years. The Government will award contracts for identical brand name items to more than one contractor when offers are determined to be fair and reasonable to the Government. See note 12.
