Description
NA Provide all resources necessary to perform Full Food Service (FFS) at Bldg. 332, Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA) at Dublin, California, and at Bldg. 650, B.T. Collins Reserve Center, Sacramento, California. This solicitation is subject to the Randolph-Sheppard Act (20.U.S.C. 107) which provides selection preference to qualified nominees of State Licensing Agencies (SLA) for the Blind who represent clients seeking Defense contracts for military cafeteria-styl e food operations. Application of this preference may entitle a qualifying SLA offeror(s), whose evaluated proposal is included in the agency competitive range determination, to receive an award without further consideration of other equally competitive p roposals. This notice is not designed to discourage competition from NISH or small business offerors interested in the requirement. Rather, it merely represents notice regarding a potential preference for Randolph-Sheppard eligibles, in the event that of fers from such sources are received. If proposals are received from qualifying SLA offerors, then a competitive range will be determined for the purpose of applying the Randolph Sheppard Act preference as defined by present DOD and Army policy, interpret ing the Randolph-Sheppard act (20.U.S.C. 107). This procurement for full food service will be for the period from February 1, 2004, through January 31, 2005, with four (4) one-year options. The proposed procurement is set-aside for small business and the State Licensing Agency under NAICS 722310 with a corresponding small business size standard of $17.5 Mil. The RFP will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about October 31, 2003. For additional information, contact Contract Specialist, Mary Purpus, at (608) 388-7351 or by e -mailing requests to mary.purpus@emh2.mccoy.army.mil or kris.murray@emh2.mccoy.army.mil. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation and amendments; contractors will not be directly notified of solici tation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered.
