Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC), Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a sole-source standing order to BioMerieux, 100 Rodolphe St., Durham, NC 27712, for laboratory reagents, calibrators, and consumables for the MPP 3000 analyzer to perform HIV, RPR and hepatitis studies. BioMerieux is the only know source with the knowledge required to provide the required items. BioMerieux will provide the following products to the FMC laboratory 001) 59487 RBS viro Soln 1000 ml 2 ea; 002) 05093 tube holders (12 x 75) - 2 ea; 003) 05095 Primary Rack; 004) 37159 Res Troughs 12 chan - 10 ea; 005) 80257 Reagent Containers 50 ml - 1 ea; 006) 70265 Dis Reagent Pumps - 72 ea; 007) 05088 Wipe off paper roll - 10 ea; 008) 05089 Reagent containers - 4 ea; 009) 05097 Precision Tips - 300 ea; 010) 37116 Plate Bar Code Labels - 5 ea; 011) 59606 HIV-1 - 80 ea; 012) 80258 Reagent Container 100ml - 1 ea. This is not a request for competitive quotations and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 4 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
