Description

The United States Air Force will be issuing a solicitation for the purpose of establishing a firm fixed price Requirements contract for furnishing Periodical kits (on an ?all or none? basis) for use in the Air force library Program. Each kit will contain the following: Air Force Times (ISSN 0002-2403) Newsweek (ISSN 0028-9604) PC Magazine (ISSN 0888-8507) People (ISSN 0093-7673) Sports Illustrated (ISSN 0038-822X) US News and World Report (ISSN 0041-5537) The period of performance will consist of one base year and four Option years. Base Year: 1 Jan 2004 through 31 Dec 2004 1st Option year: 1 Jan 2005 through 31 Dec 2005 2nd Option year: 1 Jan 2006 through 31 Dec 2006 3rd Option year: 1 Jan 2007 through 31 Dec 2007 4th Option year: 1 Jan 2008 through 31 Dec 2008 Direct all requests for copies of the solicitation to ASC/PKWRM, ATTN: Athan Okwuoha, 1940 Allbrook Drive , Suite 3, Wright Patterson AFB OH 45433, Telephone: 937-257-8344 ext.4487 Fax: 937-257-6390. The solicitation will be issued on the 15 Oct 2003. All proposal due on the 30 Oct 2003 at 4pm EST. Mr . Michael Higgins has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The Purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractors concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the e-mail address listed herein.
