Description

DESCRIPTION: Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, has a competitive requirement, F.O.B destination, for all personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform janitorial services a t Dworshak Dam. The work will include mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing and/or sealing, vacuuming, spot cleaning and steam cleaning various flooring and floor covering materials including those on stairways and landings. Surface dusting, cleaning of wind ows and window coverings, upholstery cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities and fixtures, cleaning of lunchroom and kitchen appliances, fixtures and facilities and trash removal. Facilities to be serviced are the Dam, Powerhouse, Visitor Center, Servic e Building and Resource Maintenance Office. This contract is a fixed-price, performance-based service contract where desired outcomes are defined and measured while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The intent is to have a bas e year with four option years. Proposals will be evaluated on criteria indicated in the solicitation. Main factors, in a descending order of importance, will be technical proposal, past performance and price. Procurement is 100 percent set-aside for sma ll business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7349. Federal Supply Classification (FSC) code is S201. A small business concerns average annual receipts for t he preceding 3 fiscal years must not exceed $14 million. This is not a request for proposal, but notice that a solicitation will be issued for this requirement.
