- NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-04-T-0004 for Trash Removal Services Along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, and Project Office, Chesapeake City, Maryland. The c ontractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials to perform trash removal services on roadways to the North and South of C&D Canal as directed. The contract will have a period of performance for the Base Year from 1 November 2003 through 31 Oct ober 2004 and will contain 3 additional 1-year option periods. Award will be made to the lowest offeror. The RFQ will be available on or about 20 October 2003. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the RFQ package and all amendments fro m the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.milon or after the issue date of the RFQ. If any contractor information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failu re to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the RFQ or any amendments. RFQ documents will be furnished only on the website; hard copies will not be available. Offers will be due on 24 October 2003 at the close of bus iness, (4:00 p.m. eastern time). Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the RFQ. This procurement is Unrestricted. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurement is 562111 with a size standard of $10.5 million. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DoD??????s Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300 and must be in compliance with the VETS 100 reporting requirement. Ins tructions will be included in the RFQ.
