- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Teradyne Inc., Boston, MA to produce a Digital Test Unit (DTU) modification kit required for the purpose of adding a seventh M911 Channel Card to the existing DTU configuration. The modification kit shall include a M911 channel card, cables, upgraded power supply, cable harnesses, filler board with ECO and software. Teradyne will be responsible for ensuring that the modification kit will not cause the DTU to operate outside its specified thermal limits. The government intends to procure these kits under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. Teradyne Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Digital Test Unit. The government does not own data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-04-R-0012. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates the awards to be firm fixed price contracts. No solicitations will be available for this procurement.
