Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation to procure up to six (6) sheet-fed, water-wipe, multi-color intaglio printing presses for the Washington, DC facility located at 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228-0001. The successful offeror shall provide all labor and materials to provide turnkey installation of each system. This requirement is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS code is 333293 and the corresponding size standard of 500. The BEP anticipates issuing the subject solicitation on or about December 19, 2003 for a Firm Fixed-Price type contract for a base quantity of two (2) printing presses and two (2) options of two (2) printing presses, each. A site visit will be conducted upon request January 7-9, 2003. To arrange for a site visit, please contact the Contract Specialist, Cynthia Beckett, no later than December 17, 2003. The solicitation and draft statement of work will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.eps.gov.
