- Description
- This project shall consist of removal of coal ash from 188-C and 489-C Ash Piles, constructing roads to the sites, establishing final contours and control structures as needed to produce a permanently stabilized cover. The work shall include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, excavation, hauling and disposal, dust abatement, aggregate surfacing, soil erosion and pollution control, seeding, and pipe and concrete drop inlet installation. Project location is on the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) outside Aiken, SC. SRS is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering will require a processing period and persons who are not U.S. citizens will require a processing period which could require 30 days.
