Description
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ? DEACTIVATION, DECONTAMINATION AND DECOMMISSIONING SUPPORT SERVICES AT THE IDAHO NATIONAL ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY ? Bechtel BWXT Idaho, LLC (BBWI), Management and Operating Contractor of the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL), is requesting an expression of interest from companies to provide deactivation, decontamination and decommissioning services at the INEEL. Specific services would include, but not be limited to: facility characterization and deactivation; preparation for deactivation, decontamination, and decommissioning; facility decontamination and decommissioning operations; and post-deactivation, decontamination, and decommissioning. These services may be performed on clean and/or contaminated facilities and must comply with all applicable safety and health requirements. BBWI anticipates establishing a Blanket Master Contract (BMC) with one or more companies to provide the services on a task basis, i.e., discrete scopes of work and price of performance will be negotiated and work authorized by Release to the BMC. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS - Prospective suppliers must provide a written response to address the following: 1) a description of capabilities related to performing the work; 2) a listing of clients along with a point of contact where similar services are/were provided; 3) a safety and health program description; 4) demonstrated familiarity with applicable Department of Energy requirements; and 5) the name, phone number and email of a company representative who may be contacted for information purposes.
