- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation, numbered F2J00032810100. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532112, size standard $18,500,000.00. This purchase is a total set-aside for small businesses. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the lease of one (1) Chevrolet Tahoe LT, 4dr, 1500 4WD, fully-loaded, non-standard options: second row bucket seats, Safe and Secure Package, full size spare tire with matching wheels. Colors and Fabrics: Exterior ? Dark Blue Metallic; Interior ? Gray/Dark Charcoal; seats shall be leather. The contractor must provide collision insurance, routine maintenance locally (to include oil changes, tire rotation and balancing, and chassis lubrication), and the OnStar Navigation system. The vehicle must be delivered on or before 1 Dec 03. The period of the lease will be from the contract date until 30 Sep 04 and will include one option year. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. The following Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (which includes: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As Amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.) (Applicable to Service Contracts only); 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (29 U.S.C. 206 and 41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.) (Applicable to Service Contracts only)). Offeror shall include a complete copy of the provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Awards cannot be made to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration at time of award.
