Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for Remedial and Preventive Maintenance service of Government-Owned Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) of Hewlett Packard manufactured equipment. Additiona l requirement information: Equipment/ Price List, Purchase Description, Representations and Certifications, Contract Report Requirements, Wage Determination in response to this synopsis/solicitation can be obtained electronically under: http://www.army.mil /docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 dated 29 Jul 02. The anticipated contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with cost reimbur sable elements for Field Change Orders. The contract will consist of one (1) year period of performance from 01 December 2003 through 30 September 2004. We will select the best-qualified sources as a result of this synopsis in accordance with the listed e valuation factors: (1) Technical Qualifications: maintenance plan, test equipment, maintenance and repair manuals, and source of replacement parts, (2) Management: adequacy of corporate performance, adequacy of organizational responsiveness to work assi gned, and adequacy of organization and management. Offerors must provide satisfactory evidence that replacement parts will be readily available and can be acquired in a timely manner and that all documentation, repair manuals, schematics, hand tools, test and measuring equipment, clock diagrams, diagnostic routines, and any other aids, can be systematically acquired to provide contractual services. Offerors must provide pricing for all equipment listed. This requirement will be an Open and Full Competition . The applicable NAICS Code is 811219 with a size standard of 500 employees. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award if you ar e selected. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212 -5, FAR 52.203-6 Alt I, FAR 52.219-14, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.225-13, FAR 52.222-41, FAR 52.222-42 (52.232-33, 52.232-36).
