Description

NA CONTACT Charles Penta, Configuration Manager, (732) 532-1178. This is a market survey for an interim headset to be comfortably worn under a Personal Armor System for Ground Troops (PASGT) SEP Helmet. Headset will be similiar to the requirements of PRFA3261 202, dated 10 MAY 2002. The headset shall interoperate with existing AN/VIC-3(V) and AN/VIC-1 units without degradation of function. The source must provide with his response the performance specification, test plan and test data, as applicable, to show i nterchangeability and interoperability with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) and AN/VIC-1 systems. The response must include documentation (e.g. test results), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply items that will be form, fit and function interchangeable and interoperable with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) systems. Response must also include two samples that demonstrate fit when worn with the PASGT SEP Helmet. The item may be considered a Commercial Item (CI) or a Non-Developm ental Item (NDI). Production delivery of acceptable product will be prior to Jan 31, 2004. Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the items to be supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government. Sup pliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate by writing to: Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-DSA-TST (C. Penta), Bldg. 209, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5000.
