- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR POWER UPGRADE SOLUTION. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to revise: the specification, the date for questions, the site visit, the due date for receipt of offers, and the Online RFQ. *A revised specification (with two attachments) is uploaded with this amendment. *The site visit will be Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at 10:00am. Prospective quoters shall submit to this office written notification not later than 3:00pm (EST) on October 20, 2003 (email is preferred) of their intent to submit a quotation and/or attend the site visit. *Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (email is preferred) no later than Wednesday, October 22, 2003. *The due date for receipt of offers is extended to Monday, October 27, 2003. *The Online RFQ is revised to incorporate the revisions above, it also incorporates NFS 1852.223-73 Alt 1, Safety and Health Plan. This regulation requires the apparent "Best Value" offeror to submit a detailed safety and occupational health plan prior to award. (NOTE: The Plan need not be submitted with proposals, but will be required prior to award.) Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on September 17, 2003. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
