- CONTACT DAVE JONES, 530-621-5248, WITH TECHNICAL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS SOLICITATION. This solicitation involves reconstructing roads within this contract to a lower level by: installing gates and guardrail barricades, constructing rolling dips, diversion dips lead off ditches, outsloping roads, installing barrier rocks, removing culverts, and installing log and earth barriers. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. There will be no pre-proposal meeting or tour. Interested parties may visit project site, which is located within the Eldorado National Forest on the Georgetown Ranger District. To reach project site from Placerville, CA, travel North approximately 20 miles to Georgetown, CA. Then travel East approximately 6.8 miles to the Rock Creek Road turnoff. From this location travel South on Rock Creek Road and refer to project location maps in solicitation to specific work sites. The solicitation package will be posted on or around January 27, 2004, with a response date of February 26, 2004, at close of business.
