- Description
- The FBI intends to award a sole source purchase order to The National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA ) Institute for Health Care Fraud Prevention , 1255 23rd Street, Suite 200, NW,Washington, DC 20037-1174 to attend the 2003 Annual Conference. The NHCAA is the only conference where private health insurers, state and local law enforcement officers can meet jointly in the fight against Health Care Fraud (HCF), to share information concerning the prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of Health Care Fraud. This is not a solicitation. Provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-17. This is considered a commercial service and is being conducted in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13, SAP as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The NAICS is 611699, and the Business Size Standard is six (6) million dollars. This will be a Fixed Price purchase order. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that The NHCAA Institute for Health Care Fraud Prevention is the only source to meet FBI requirements. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond by submitting a proposal to include qualifications, experience/pricing and any other pertinent information to Gwendolyn D. Campbell, Contracting Officer, address listed above. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquires will be accepted.
