- Description
- Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 7, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Loomis Fargo & Company, 490 Bay Street, Augusta, GA 30901, for armored car services for Fiscal and Canteen Services for the period December 1, 2003, through November 30, 2004, with four renewable option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting literature and documentation detailing their experience in providing this service to the Contracting Officer or by FAX to 478-274-5578 or e-mail to minnie.smith@med.va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received no later than 4:30 PM November 21, 2003.
