The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome, NY intends to implement a sole source service contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) with the Town of Newport Highway Department, P.O. Box 519, Newport, NY 13146. Justification supporting sole source acquisition is the physical location of the sites. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding, however this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement shall be awarded under FAR part 12.
