- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSES (SSS): 311 HSW/YASK is seeking sources for STRUCTURAL UPGRADE (SU) KITS for all USAF F-16 ACES II ejection seats. SU kits shall be manufactured/assembled in accordance with kit drawing 1847-052-01/CAGE 51998. This will be a one-time procurement. First Article testing may be required. This is an Export Control item and interested parties must be Export Control certified. The only contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. Contractors must submit a copy of their current, approved DD Form 2345 with their request for kit drawing 1847-052-01/CAGE 51998. To request this certification, write to the Commander, Defense Logistics Services Center, ATTN: DLSC-FEB, Federal Center, Battle Creek MI 49017-3084 and request a copy of Department of Defense Form 2345 or call DLSC at the above number. DD Form 2345 may also be downloaded from the Defense Logistics Information Service website at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP/. This is not an RFP and this SSS in no way obligates the government to award a contract. The government will not compensate any interested party, firm, or individual that may respond to this SSS. Formal responses to this SSS should be limited to two, 8x11 typed pages and should detail the experience and capabilities of your firm to perform the task outlined above.
