- 16?SERVOCYLINDER. Item NSN: 1650-01-049-5959HS, PART NUMBER: A01790-1. 17 EA. Applicable to: F15A-E. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 7 Each on 30 Nov 2003, 1 Each on 27 Feb 2004, 1 Each on 31 March 2004, 8 Each on 30 July 2004. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 24 Oct 2004. The government intends to award to this requirement to the only current approved/qualified source, CAGE CODE: 94687, MOOG Inc, Aircraft Controls Div., Jamison Road, East Aurora NY 14052. This requirement has been screened and can only be purchased from the actual manufacturer or vendor, including a prime contractor who is the actual manufacturer. The data needed (specifications and drawings), to contract from other sources does not exist and are not available within the Air Force or the U.S. Government and the data needed to develop other competitive sources is not available. Drawings are not available for this item. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed above. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
