Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 05 MAY 05 for 5 each. NOUN: Housing, antifriction. Dimensions: Diameter 23 inches, Height 6.068 in material. Qualification requirements: Cage Code: 07482 General Electric Aircraft Company, Cincinnati Ohio, Cage Code: 11259 Electro-Jet Tool Co Inc., Cincinnati Ohio, Cage Code: 15152. Technical Data Package is not available to the government. The approximate response date will be 10 NOV 03. The anticipated award date will be 31 DEC 03. No obligation may be incurred until FY 04 funds are available. This is First Article and Government tested. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Pre qualification of alternate sources is required to maintain part quality and reliability. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. AFMCFARS 5352.247-9009, Military packaging and marking. FOB Origin. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Government and Commercial Surplus are acceptable, IAW FAR provisions: New/used acceptable; E-415, E-425. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after the Government will consider date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
