- Description
- This is a solicitation notice. This procurement is Unrestricted. Estimated Cost Range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price contract to Provide a fully furnished modular trailer to serve as a shower/locker facility at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Philadelphia Pa. Work shall include delivery of trailer modules to site, setup, installation, final assembly, and anchoring of modules to concrete sonotube piers. Contractor shall provide concrete blocks, as required, to elevate the modules to their finish floor elevation of 30" (ADA maximum height for a single ramp). Sonotubes with top at approximate grade level and utility services to trailer utility connection points shall be by others. Sonotube pier locations will be based on trailer supplier's blocking points plan which shall be submitted as soon as possible after contract award and trailer submittal approval. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to verify all conditions at the site prior to submission of bid. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236115 and the size standard is 28.5 million. Per the Dept Collections Improvement Act of 1996, the DFAR requires all contractors to be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised, failure to register in the CCR makes a bidder ineligible for award of DOD Contracts. There will be a site-visit specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 7 November 2003. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Hard copies will not be available. The address for downloading this solicitation is www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. You must first create an account. You may view the site without an account, but you will not be able to register for a solicitation unless you have an account. Once registered, you will receive an e-mail informing you when the Invitation for Bid (IFB) package becomes available. An official planholders list will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the website. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made on the internet. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation plans and specifications.
