- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZone small business firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment transportation and supervision required to perform dredging services at USCG Support Center Elizabeth City, NC. (1) Dredge at Station Pier ? approx. 500 cy of material from the area around the boat slip to provide a depth of 7.0 feet below MLW; (2) Dredge around Fire Pump House ? approx 500 cy of material from the area around the Fire Pump House. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $17.0M. NOTE: NAICS code 237990 - Dredging: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Komer) no later than COB 10/10/03. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at pkomer@ceucleveland.uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address; Business Size (Disadvantaged Status, 8(A) status or HUBZone status). Indicate if the dredging activities will be performed by your own firm or subcontracted. If subcontracting the dredging activities, provide the name of the firm to perform the dredging and their Business Size. Do you own your own dredging equipment or will the equipment be subcontracted? NO TELEPHONE, WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS will be honored. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government Reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(A), or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
