- Description
- This serves as a sources sought regarding an upcoming USAF Academy contract for meteorological services. The service requirements for the meteorological service could contain all of the following: surface weather observation, weather radar observation, weather forecasting, staff weather briefing, and aircrew flight weather briefing support for the Academy and out lying areas within approximately fifty mile radius of the Academy. It also includes equipment operation, operation of government furnished weather equipment and other meteorological services as needed. All interested business concerns shall indicate interest in this acquisition by providing the company name, mailing address, phone number, and electronic mail address to kylie.hager@usafa.af.mil no later than 10:00a.m. MST, 27 October 2003. Interested offerors shall submit information supporting their capability and past performance related to this acquisition. Small business concerns must provide written proof of capability and a positive statement of eligibility as a SB concern. Indications of interest by SB concerns without required information regarding capability and eligibility will not be considered in a SB set-aside determination. For purposes of this acquisition, the NAICS code being considered is 561210. The anticipated business size is $6.0 million. Small, Historically Underutilized, and Women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit data. A subsequent synopsis will be issued at a later date to provide solicitation issuance details.
