- NA The U.S. Army will conduct a presolicitation site visit/conference during the period 4-5 November 2003 regarding the planned future acquisition of operation and maintenance services for the Targets Management Office's Aerial Targets Flight Services (ATFS) program. The presolicitation conference site will be White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico with some activities taking place at Fort Bliss, Texas. The site visit/conference will begin 0900 hours on 4 November 2003 at WSMR, Building 1540. The Army 's primary objectives for this conference are to provide general program information and worksite orientation to potential offerors, and gain industry insight/feedback into ways the ATFS program, and future acquisitions, can best evolve considering the cha nging environment. In accordance with FAR 15.201(f), any materials distributed at the conference will be made available to all potential offerors, upon request. The presolicitation site visit/conference agenda will include travel to, and tour of, certain ATFS operational sites on WSMR and Fort Bliss. Attendees desiring to tour the operational sites will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the sites. Travel arrangements, and all costs associated with conference attendance, are the resp onsibility of the attendees. El Paso, TX, has the nearest airport and motels are available in El Paso or Las Cruces, NM - either being about a 45 minute drive to WSMR Bldg. 1540. Interested parties must provide visit requests to SFC Todd Barks (Voice 505-6 78-5098, Fax 505-678-2575) with copies furnished to Ms. Vickie Beaver (Voice 256-876-5976, Fax 256-842-6457). A map, and other information, can be obtained from SFC Barks. Requests for visit authorization must be received no later than 30 October 2003. Fa ilure to follow these instructions may result in denial of access to the conference or certain sites. The conference and all briefings will be conducted at the Unclassified level.
