- GySgt Mohead, KM, Contracting Officer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is non-restricted and has a NAICS code of 811310. This solicitation contains (1) CLIN with the intent of awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia, has a requirement for the following item: CLIN 0001: All parties that are intereste d in providing a quote need to contact the point of contact to receive detailed descriptions of one (1) Rotoblast Machine. Contractor shall provide, deliver, install and make operational one double door, double table, blasting machine with dust collector, media reclaim unit and trash separator. Contractor shall provide all labor and material to remove and clean existing blast machine, dust collector and media reclaim unit. After existing blast unit is cleaned and removed it will be turned over to the Government for disposable. New cabinet shall be constructed of steel. Contractor shall provide all electrical components of machine to make it operational once contractor installs machine in cleaning shop. Contractor shall test machine once he has installed machine and make any and all necessary adjustments or modifications to make machine operate for it's intended purpose (Clean ing, paint, rust, and coating from steel and aluminum parts). Contractor shall provide 8 hours of operation and maintenance instruction to Government personal. Contractor shall provide three copies of operation and parts manuals. Part manuals shall include a part number for every component of the blast machine including dust collector and filters. Contractor shall keep work area neat and clean at all times. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and determine the best value to the Government: Price, Technical Acceptance and Delivery. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial product, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Offerors responding to this announcement must provide the informatio n contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representatives and Certifications ? Commercial Items. The offeror shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Established code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be eligible for award. www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Written, facsimile, or emailed quotes and the above required information must be received at this office on or before 26 November 2003, at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
