- Description
- This synopsis is for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Services for the Atlanta Submissions Processing Center and the Shadyland Childcare Center. The contractor shall furnish all Facilities Management Services including management, supervision, labor, subcontracts, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment to provide preventive and remedial maintenance, minor repairs, emergency services, structural maintenance, painting, etc., at the Internal Revenue Service, Atlanta Submissions Processing Center, 4800 Buford Highway, Chamblee, GA and Shadyland Childcare Center, 2355 Chamblee-Tucker Road, Chamblee, GA. The contractor will perform scheduled and unscheduled services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year. This acquisition is listed as a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 561210 ($23M size standard). The performance based contract will cover a Base Period of six (6) months, beginning on or about April 1, 2004, with options to renew up to an additional four (4) one-year periods. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated closing date is November 24, 2003. All inquiries concerning this synopsis must be made in written form via mail delivery or fax transmission to the Contract Specialist listed under Point of Contact below. Please frequently check the website for updates to the solicitation. A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled to be held on-site. The actual date will be referenced in the solicitation(Section L). No other formal site visits will be scheduled. Only sources having relevant contract experience performing similar O&M Services for a combination office, computer room(s), and light industrial facility that are comparable in complexity will be considered qualified for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 1.
