Description

A two day conference will be held for Small Business Liaison Officers on November 3 and 4, 2003 at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. This special event will be hosted by the DoD Small Business Council for Education and Advocacy Washington, D.C. and George Mason University Procurement Technical Assistance Program. Welcoming remarks start at 8:00 a.m. on November 3 and an evening networking reception will be held on Monday. Choice of training will be available on November 3 and 4. Cost is $200, a $50 discount is offered for federal SBLO's. This conference will focus on current initiatives in the federal small business subcontracting program that will have a major impact on large business firms in the near future. The program will provide two full days of ideas presented by federal agency representatives and large and small business firms to develop into opportunities to enhance small business subcontracting programs for large business firms.
