- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking information on the availability of existing space at a low security correctional facility. Facility(ies) should have the capability to accommodate a population of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 low security non-U.S. citizen males by summer, 2004. Facility(ies) shall be located in the continental United States. Facility(ies) shall be able to provide programming for the population, i.e., education, recreation and work programs. Facility(ies) design should comply with, or have the capability to comply with levels of quality established by the American Correctional Association (ACA), Adult Correctional Institution Standards. Response shall provide the following information: (1) Facility Location(s); (2) Number of beds available; (3) Availability date(s); (4) All facility accreditations; (5) Current facility status; and (6) Identification of the population currently housed in the facility, if any.
