Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award a contract to provide Adult Literacy Instructor Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located at 1101 John A. Denie Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134. The resulting contract will consist of a Base Year period that runs 12 consecutive months from the effective date of award with four 12-month option periods for renewal. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be an firm-fixed price requirements type contract. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Education or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience teaching in a correctional environment or a comparable setting. This will be a full and open, UNRESTRICTED competitive procurement. ALL responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer for consideration. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 3, 2003 and the anticipated Date of Award is December 15, 2003. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
