- Description
- Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Thermo Electron Scientific Instruments Corporation for a Nexus FT-Raman Spectrometer Attachment Module to attach to the current Thermo Electron Nexus 670 FTIR Spectrometer. This service is being acquired for the Department of Chemistry, HQ USAFA/DFC, Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by October 30, 12:00PM Noon, MDT, to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with Thermo Nicolet a sole source award will be made.
