- NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Center for Environmental Assessment, located in Cincinnati, OH plans to use simplified acquisition procedures to acquire, on a competitive basis, support to identify and count soft algae subsamples. The main objectives of this acquisition are: (1) receive, store, and track periphyton subsamples, (2) preparation, identification and enumeration of diatoms and soft algae for a total count of diatoms and identification and enumeration of other algae to genus, (3) data collection and reporting; and (4) return of all sample material, QC forms, and data sheets. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 541620, the size standard for which is $6 million dollars. Any small business believing itself capable of meeting EPA requirements may submit a statement of interest to establish the potential of complying with the Statement of Work. Such documentation must be submitted by 12:00 PM EST (NOON) MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2003. This procurement will be processed using full and open competition under FAR Part 13. It is anticipated that requests for quotations shall be issued around 11/12/03, with quotes due around 11/21/03. An award will be made by 12/01/03.
