Description

SUBJECT: LOCAL DIAL TONE SERVICES FOR SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA The U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California is seeking the services of a vendor who is authorized by the California Public Utilities Commission to provide and install local dial tone and trunk services with digital and analog facilities for the Court agencies located at 501 "I" Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. This project includes the U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, U.S. Probation Office, U.S. Pretrial Services Office, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Courts Library. The chosen vendor (e.g., Contractor) shall furnish all labor and materials to perform and complete all required work. Unless otherwise changed by the Courts, the anticipated delivery date for which installation shall be complete and dial tone services and related items shall be fully operational, functioning properly, and tested is January 2, 2004. The specified facilities and trunks will be connected to the Courts equipment and systems (e.g., PBX telephone system, voice mail system, video conferencing systems, modems, and fax and data application servers). Services and facilities required include: (a) Three (3) Digital Signal Level 1 (DS1) circuit, 1.544 Megabits per second (Mbps), with Integrated Services Digital Network Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PRI) signaling (b) A block of 900 consecutive DID numbers and a block of 100 consecutive DID numbers (c) Twenty-nine (29) ISDN BRIs (d) Twenty-six (26) analog lines Additional requirements and information are contained in the solicitation document, RFP Number: USDC-CAE-2003.01 A firm-fixed price contract, with one base period and four (4) option periods, is anticipated as a result of this solicitation.
