Description
The Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire technical services to design, conduct and evaluate an Assistance (Grants and Cooperative Agreements) training course for USAID personnel worldwide. The Assistance Course will consist of two separate but interrelated components: 1) an Assistance Workbook component, and 2) an Assistance Classroom component. . The Assistance Classroom component shall not exceed one week in length. The Assistance Workbook shall be used as an overview of the Assistance Process and will be prerequisite to the Assistance Classroom component. The workbook shall be knowledge-based and the classroom training shall be primarily skill-based instruction and highly interactive. The Assistance Course shall focus on training USAID selected participants on understanding the structure of planning, formation and administration phases of Assistance procurement cycle as utilized at USAID. The course design, materials, and presentations must emphasize USAID procedures, operations, and approaches. USAID intends to make a single award indefinite quantity (IQC) contract. The courses will be issued utilizing separate task orders under this one base year contract and four (one-year options) at firm-fixed unit prices. The RFP will be issued no earlier than fifteen (15) days from the date of publication on this notice. The RFP will be subject to competition among small business concerns only. The applicable NAIC Code is 611430. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
