- Description
- Provide physician services to residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home-Gulfport (AFRH-G) for the period January 2, 2004 through December 31, 2004 with four one (1) year options. Contractor shall provide ancilliary services required to abide by Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards and AFRH-G policies and operational procedures. Contractor will provide physicians/will serve as physician in the care of a geriatric population in the Outpatient Clinic, Long Term Care Unit (LTCU), and Assisted Living Unit. Outpatient services are limited to primary care and inpatient services range from acute/convalescent to skilled nursing facility type activity. The contractor will do their own billing and must be able to bill through Medicare, Tricare and/or supplemental insurance programs.
