Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Bruce Field, Hagerstown, Maryland. This requiremnt involves the attendance, drafting, and finalizing report(s) on VCAT meeting agenda. Coordinate design and publications of report with NIST Visual arts and Electronic Publications program staff. Bruce is uniquely qualified do to the involvement with similar services. This is a final task to complete exisitng requirement. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. The required period of performance is effective November 1, 2003. The proposed requirements is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all capability statements,quotation received by October 31,2003 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A request for Quotation (RFQ) package is not available.
