- Description
- Sources sought for Architect/Engineer (A/E) for architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing technical services to redesign space and prepare construction bid documents to Renovate Nursing Unit 4H into a Cancer Center for Oncology and Gastroentology on the 4th floor of Building 100 at the VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Renovations will include new space configuration to improve services and to enhance space utilization. Design shall be in compliance with all applicable codes and VA regulations. A/E firms with healthcare system planning and design experience with similar projects are encouraged to apply. Design completion time 120 days. Estimated construction range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Applicable NAICS code 541310 with a size standard of $4 million. Interested firms must submit one Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255 to the Contracting Officer ? electronic and faxed copies are not acceptable. Responses are due by November 21, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. See numbered note 24.
