White II St, MS 7200 Patrick AFB, FL 32925-2328 Description Patrick AFB (PAFB) is seeking sources that are capable and interested in providing sewage treatment and reuse water services. The purpose of this announcement is to determine if there is a viable interest from local utility companies in providing the service. Parties interested in providing services at PAFB should provide a statement of interest, experience, and plant capability. The statement should include anticipated plant modifications to the PAFB sewage distribution system if applicable. PAFB estimated sewage and reuse requirements based on historical flow are as follows: PAFB SEWAGE AND REUSE REQUIREMENTS (KGAL) Annual Flow: 287577 Maximum Daily Flow: 1385 Annual Flow Post Hsg Privatization: 230012 Annual Reuse Requirement: 220000 Daily Reuse Requirement: 603 Estimated Annual Flow will be reduced after the PAFB South (Capehart) Housing Complex is sold and sewage flow is no longer routed to PAFB. Estimated Annual Flow after the sale is 230012 kGal. Contractor selection will NOT be made on the basis of information submitted, rather we will decide if sufficient viable interest exists to warrant issuing an RFP.. Please be advised the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) apply to this procurement. Responses will be used to assist in refining the acquisition strategy and subsequent decisions regarding future issuance of a full and open competitive RFP, a set-aside RFP, a sole source RFP, or, if no viable interest, not issuing an RFP. If viable responses are not received, the Government has the discretion to determine no market interest exists and no subsequent RFPs be issued. Specific responses to the following are needed in order for your firm to be considered viable in providing an offer for services. Provide: (1) Your status regarding your authority to support this service; (2) Classification of your company: (a) Publicly owned utility; (b) Investor owned utility; (c) Cooperative owned utility; (d) Publicly owned and traded company? not a utility; (e) Privately owned company; (f) Limited Liability Corporation; (g) C-Corp; (h) Other, Please Describe; Due date for response is 24 Nov 2003.
