Description

NA This project is for the installation of approximately 3.7 miles of sewage force main between the Byhalia Road Pumping Station and the Short Fork Wastewater Treatment Facility, located near Hernando in Desoto County, Mississippi. Work will consist of clear ing and grubbing, excavation of trenches, dewatering, installation of pressure rated piping, backfilling and compaction of trenches, and seeding and fertilization of disturbed areas. The estimated cost of this work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. T here will be twenty-one (21) drawings. Contractors may view and or download this solicitation and all amendments at the following address: http://www.mvm.usace.army.mil. It is expected this Solicitation will be posted on or after 12 November 2003. Contr actors are responsible for checking the website to obtain amendments. No paper copies or CDs will be issued. If any informational changes occur during the advertisement period, contractors will be notified if they have registered at the site. The solici tation is an unrestricted firm fixed price Invitation For Bid (IFB) to be opened on or about 16 December 2003. Completion time for this project is 205 calendar days. For the purpose of this procurement to quality as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the three preceding years not exceeding $28.5 million. The sup plies or services to be procured under this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237110. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contractors Register at http://www.ccr.gov/ before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
