Description
NA Several concrete monoliths at the John Day Navigation lock are experiencing cracking, spalling, and movement which requires repair to restore normal operation. The primary repair features to the monoliths include drilling, foundation grouting, crack injec tion grouting, post tensioning, work over water, braced excavation, drain installation, concrete removal, instrumentation installation, etc. The work will be completed in a significantly compressed timeframe with difficult construction tolerances. All wo rk will be inside and around an operational navigation lock. There are scheduled lock outages for critical work tasks. This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns, the size standard for which is a concern, including all affiliates, having annual sales or receipts for the past three years not in excess of $28,500,000. All interested responsible firms are invited to request a copy of the subject Invitation for Bids (IFB), in CD Rom format, at no charge, by registering on our website a t https://www.nwp.usace.army.mil. Solicitation No. W9127N-04-B-0001 is anticipated to be issued on or about 30 November 2003 with a tentative bid opening date of 30 December 2003. In order to do business with the Department of Defense, contractors must e nroll in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR). Contractors may access the CCR website at www.ccr.gov.
