Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, RI has a procurement for four SI-TEX Marine RADARpc 25.9 Marine Radar systems (plus spares) on a Brand Name or Equal basis. The radar includes the capability of receiving a GPS Gyro Compass input to place the display in an accurate North Up position eliminating the requirement to survey antenna alignment. The radar also has a 9 foot antenna, required to provide a transmit beam of less than 1 degree. This radar has as its display unit a computer screen, eliminating the need for high maintenance indicators. This program can be loaded on any 486 or equivalent computer. The radar must be controlled by a personal computer that has synchro antenna position data avialable. Specifications: Peak Power: 25kW; Frequency: 9445 +/- 30 MHz; Beam Width: Horizontal 0.8 degrees, Vertical 21 degrees; Rotation: 24 RPM; Pulse length/PRF: .3 usec/1500 Hz, .6 usec/1300 Hz, 1.2 usec/450 Hz; IF center Frequency: 60 MHz; IF bandwidth: Wide: more than 15 MHz, 20 MHz average, Narrow: more than 2.5 MHz, average 5 MHz; Noise Figure: 6.5 db nominal; Operating Temperature: -25 to 55 degrees Centigrade; Wind Force: 100 knots relative; Presentation Modes: Heading up, North up, Course up; Minimal range: better than 25 M on 1/8 nm range; Range discrimination: better than 25 M; Range accuracy: better than 8 M of maximum range of the scale in use; Bearing accuracy: better than 1 degree; 9 foot antenna; antenna position in synchro format; Buffered trigger and video data available to protect other systems. Delivery within 90 days of award. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. NAICS: 334419.
