- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport has a requirement for 1 ea. Environmental Chamber. This chamber shall be capable of performing temperature and humidity testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810E. The chamber shall be modular in design. Installation shall be performed by the manufacturer. The chamber shall meet or exceed the following specifications: Chamber Volume: 408 cubic ft.; Internal Dimensions: 77? W x 98? H x 100? D; Door opening: 64? W x 92? H; Single or double hinged door design; Stainless steel interior walls; Painted exterior walls; Stainless steel floor; Floor drain; Modular panel construction; Inside door release; Alignment pins and cam actuated locks joining panels; 4: flame retardant urethane foam insulation; Floor weight accommodation: 300 lbs. PSF; External loading ramp; 14? x 23? multipane viewing widow with thermostatically controlled heater; Four access ports: Two 4? and two 6? located on right side 36? from floor; Incandescent lighting; Forced air circulation (vertical): External motors with internal fans; Electric heaters with stainless steel sealed fin design; Supply voltage: 208 V, 3o, 60Hz; Watlow F4 controller with 97 limit controller; Refrigeration system: Cascade 20 HP compressors; Remote air cooled condenser unit located 10-20 ft from chamber; Compressors and equipment contained in enclosure; Refrigerants: R404A, SUVA95; Temperature range: -90 deg. F to 185 deg. F; Humidity range: 20 t0 95%RH; VASALA humidity sensor for controlling humidity; Operating manual including piping diagrams and electrical schematics. Delivery within 70 days of order, FOB Destination. A request for quote will be released on or about 03 November 2003 using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and Part 13.
