- Note: Number 26 applies. The RFQ will be issued as an unrestricted acquisition. There will be no options included in this procurement. Sizes will be procured FOB destination to W25GIU (New Cumberland, PA). The quantity is 16,000 Trousers, Disposable Torpedo Handler White (PGC: 00754) (NSN: 8415-01-013-4839(s). This new acquisition will be available under RFQ: SP0100-04-Q-4012 on October 29, 2003. The closing date for this RFQ is November 12, 2003. Offeror is required to submit a sample along with their offer. If you are interested in this procurement, you must email the contract specialist to get your copy of the RFQ (jerry.g.woods@dla.mil). Please provide your company name, point of contact, address and telephone number. Again, this RFQ will not be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway. Applicable Specification is A-A-55201 dated Jan 23, 1996 with pattern dated Nov 28, 1977. Production lead-time is 90 days after date of award with 12 deliveries. Prior award history is as follows: Contractor: Victoria Slipper Mfg Co., Quantity: 39,906 minimum and 89,789 maximum with one term option, basic total dollar value $186,761.12 and the option total dollar value $190,496.34. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
