- Description
- Work will include tread reconstruction, brushing, limbing, construction of drainage dips, installation of treated log waterbars, construction of turnpikes and a nail-lam struction. Approximately 800 feet of abandoned tread will be naturalized. The portion of this trail to be reconstructed is about 1.2 miles long. Location: From Grangeville Idaho travel south of Road 221 (Grangeville-Salmon Road)approximately 31 miles to the junction with Road 444 (Gospel Road0. Travel east on Road 444 approximately 10 miles to Moore's Guard Station. From Moore's Guard Station take Road 444D east approximately 1 mile to the beginning of Trail 313. Road 444D is severely rutted and suitable for travel by high clearance vehicles only. OPPORTUNITY FOR POTENTIAL BIDDERS TO REVIEW SITE CONDITIONS PRIOR TO WINTER SNOWFALL.
