Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Nuclear Medicine Technical Services for the inmate population at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri. The services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The contract type is a requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period from the date of award through 12 months with four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 106 Scans; Option Year 1 - 106 Scans; Option Year 2 - 106 Scans; Option Year 3 - 106 Scans; Option Year 4 - 106 Scans. The solicitation will be available on or about October 31, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about November 21, 2003.The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621511, with a small business size standard of $11.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
