- Description
- The VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle WA intends to negotiate a sole source contract for Medtronic Carmedia Coated Cardiopulmonary Bypass Custom Tubing Packs. This pack is unique in that ?Medtronic? is the only know source of the Heparin Bonded Custom Tubing. This proposed action in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b) (1) (i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. If however, any source believes it can furnish the item described above it is encouraged to furnish information about its product and services, as well as references from other customers who are using the same product. You may email: robin.tice@med.va.gov for a complete pack listing. Supporting evidence (ie authorized distributor, etc.) must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrated the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses are to be received within 10 days after publication of this notice.
