Description

Nonpersonal Service: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to bore Forty Feet under road with a 20 inch steel casing; Contractor will furnish and install casing, and insulators on 12 inch pipe. Twelve inch pipe will be furnished by Civil Engineering Utility Shop. Boring pits will be dug by Civil Engineering, the pit will be ready for the contractor by 18 Nov 03. Depth of the Bore will be determined by existing utilities; minimum depth three feet, and maximum depth six feet. If for any reason the pits shall be left unattended for any period of time, proper safety precautions must be maintained by the contractor until completion of the contract. The work area must be left in a clean and orderly manner, being sure that no damage to government or personal property occurs. The contractor will be liable for any possible damages. Location: Intersection of Davis Ave South and Lindbergh Ave. Start date: NLT 20 Nov 03 End Date: 21 NOV 03 Performance completion within a two-day period. THIS PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS A 100% VERY SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE UNDER THE NAICS 238990. Very Small business size standard at 500 employees. The solicitation will be posted on the EPS web site (www.eps.gov). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITAION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Important notice --you may not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database, (Ref: DFARS 252.204-7004), Required Central Contractor Registration.
