Description
The purpose of this amendment is to correct the statement ?Government-furnished drawings are not available? and to clarify the solicitation number. 1. The statement should read ?Government-furnished drawings will not be provided with the solicitation.? 2. The initial synopsis states the Solicitation Number will be FA810404R55127. The solicitation posted to FedBizOps under this solicitation number matches the synopsis. However, the solicitation document, page 1, block 4, is FA8104-04-R-0038. The synopsis reference and the posted solicitation document identify the same requirement. ------------------------------------------------------------------ NOUN: Spray Ring Assembly, Seg I; NSN: 2915-01-471-1311NZ; P/N: 4085197; QTY: 67; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: Dec04 to Tinker AFB, OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/220; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: Ring approx 36 inches dia; Overall height approx 7 inches; Overall length approx 40 inches. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Nickel Alloy; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Spray Ring distributes and atomizes fuel flow into engine, providing optimum fuel/air distribution and combustion during augmentation. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 27OCT03. Anticipated award date: 05Dec03. A first article will be required in accordance with criteria established in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price Buy is anticipated for this requirement. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. Information regarding how to become an approved source will be available in the solicitation. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or Potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
