The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award. At this time the Government's BEQ is 15 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited. (8-13 ea) and (14-19 ea). The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do no apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 12 Nov 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 12 Dec 2003. The anticipated award date will be 31 Dec 2003. First article government test required; waiver conditions will be stated in the RFQ. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. See Note(s) 1 and 26.
